I have to be honest, I’ve seen most of Sly Stallone’s movies, but I haven’t seen a Rambo film. From what I knew Rambo (the character) was some sort of survival style guide. So upon viewing the latest installment, Rambo: Last Blood it does a good job in revisiting Rambo’s past and giving little nuggets of trivia to make you aware of who Rambo is.
When it comes to the film itself, the writing lacked and at times the style of filming didn’t suit, like for example a stagnant montage that was supposed to represent time passing by. However the action sequences (particularly the end) more than made up for the dialogue.
