I’m going to start by saying, I think Shazam! was a tad too long. I also wasn’t as much of a fan as I thought I’d be of Zachary Levi as Shazam. Something just didn’t work. However, Warner Bros. have proven again that they succeed in casting great performers in the younger roles. Much like the young cast IT, Shazam’s stars are Asher Angel (Billy Batson) and IT alum Jack Dylan Grazer (Freddy Freeman).
