FFA CEO David Gallop officially launched the season with players from each of the nine Westfield W-League clubs; Adelaide United, Brisbane Roar FC, Canberra United, Melbourne City FC, Melbourne Victory, Newcastle Jets, Perth Glory, Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers FC.
