I remember thinking as I sat in the theatre at the conclusion of Days of Future Past, that I wanted to watch Apocalypse that very second. That I couldn’t wait years for Apocalypse. And yet, I had to. Yes, I found other movies to fill my time with the waiting and longing for the next chapter of The X-Men. And here we are. The time has come! Apocalypse is now! The major twists in Days of Future Past led to this moment. Led to this film.

Cast members are back, such as James McAvoy as Professor X, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Jennifer Lawrence as Raven/Mystique, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Rose Byrne as Moira, Evan Peters as Quicksilver and Brian Singer is back to direct. Which pretty much guarantee’s this movie will be epic. We’ll also notice new and old faces, key players such as; Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse, Olivia Munn as Psylocke, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Lucus Till as Havok, Ben Hardy as Angel and Aussie actor Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler.

It’s like all my comic, video game, cartoon dreams are coming true. It’s pretty wild to see it all come together on screen, especially for those of us who have spent many an hour playing the Apocalypse video game. To those of you, looking forward to Apocalypse, I completely understand. I can’t even begin to list the things I’m looking forward to most when it comes to this film. So I’ll leave you with the trailer and the link to our Days of Future Past review, for you to enjoy. With more X-Men: Apocalypse around the corner.
