The official trailer for The BFG is here and it takes you back. And by that I mean, childhood. It’s as if Steven Speilberg had a direct link to my imagination and recreated exactly how I envisioned the events would transpire.

The movement, images, use of lighting and shadow, had me under a spell. You will literally hold your breath. The opalesque features make me think of Maleficent, cross Tangled.

Pure. Simple. Magic.
