We’ve recently rewatched the eight seasons of Entourage in anticipation for the films release tomorrow.
On top of that, the recent trailers and promotional material for the film have only added to the fire. We’re privy to more of the plot line as well as the special cameos from celebrities such as, Ronda Rousey, Haley Joel Osment, Scott ‘Kid Cudi’ Mescudi, Emily Ratajkowski, Billy Bob Thornton, Gary Busey, Bob Saget, Pharrell Williams, Ed O’Neill, Mark Wahlberg, Jessica Alba, Terrence Jenkins, Maria Menounos and Liam Neeson. Just to name a few.
The characters have evolved and grown, with story lines showing the “after” effects of the season eight finale. It’s a funny thing, talking to people over the past few months (some even years), those of whom are looking forward to the next chapter in the characters’ lives. Lives we have come to love. There’s a really cool audience mentality behind the series, where you as the viewer pick who you either want to be or relate to the most within the comedy/drama. We once debated over dinner who (in our own Entourage) we were most like. I go to a store and overhear a customer discussing the series. People still line up to buy the eight seasons. That’s the effect!
Returning characters include; Emmanuelle Chriqui as Sloan, Perrey Reeves as Mrs. Ari, Rex Lee as Lloyd, Debi Mazar as Shauna, Rhys Coiro as Billy Walsh, Constance Zimmer as Dana Gordon and obviously, the boys are back! Adrian Grenier as Vince, Kevin Dillon as Johnny Drama, Kevin Connolly as E, Jerry Ferrara as Turtle and Jeremy Piven as Ari Gold.
For those of you wanting to check out what the fuss is all about, BoxSets (Australia, Foxtel, ch 116) are currently in the midst of airing the seasons. So catch up with the lads before you see the film.
In Australian cinemas June 4.
