Continuing their tour across the country, Lepers & Crooks took to the stage at the UNSW Roundhouse Beer Garden on a warm autumn day. Our photographer from Any Other Day Photography was on the scene, catching this unforgettable show. What can we say? The level of talent on stage was undeniable, performing completely and utterly with their heart and soul.
You can see why the band were recently signed to Petrol Records. The first major signing to join the label since INXS re-united with CM Murphy five years ago.
The band consisting of five guys, have recently completed their 30 date RAW tour across Australia and are touring once again. Their aim, in support of their “Her Kiss” EP, is to complete 50+ gigs, travelling 25,000km around the country.
The band put across a unique sound with a lively set, performing through tunes like Let You Go, Her Kiss, Freedom and closing their set with the compelling, This System. Lead singer Sam Baker interacted with the audience, giving a stellar performance that the great rock legends would be proud of. After the set the lads hung around and spoke to fans, another top moment for all involved.
Stay tuned for a review of their final show in May.
