Aussies in Hollywood

We all know the Aussie Hollywood heavyweights and the success they’ve achieved overseas. Today we’ll be looking at new up and coming Aussie stars who are about to hit the silver screen in a big way.

Aussie favourite Brenton Thwaites, who recently starred in Maleficent as Prince Phillip earned rave reviews for his (albeit brief) performance and is about to star in The Giver based on the critically acclaimed book by Lois Lowry. This fantasy thriller looks to be quite enthralling and a positive step for the young star in making a name overseas. Thwaites will also feature in Gods of Egypt, directed by Alex Proyas and Son of a Gun co-starring alongside Ewan McGregor. We can expect big things to come from this rising star.

Bracey previously starred as Riley, the love interest of Leighton Meesters character Meg in Monte Carlo. He’s also sharing the spotlight with Pierce Brosnan in upcoming action thriller, The November Man.
